Depressing. I didn't get my text message or my email. And I don't like Joe Biden. He's a pompous gaffe-machine, a career Washingron insider and closet sexist bigot who's left a trail of thoughtless remarks and votes so long and wide the Republicans can drive a fleet of trucks over it. If Obama had wanted a foreign-policy heavyweight, he had other choices.
Sigh. I guess I'll get over it. I'll have to.
Update (2:40 am): Commenters on other blogs report receiving the text. Meanwhile, CNN keeps re-running all the negative things Biden said about Obama in the primaries. Oh yeah, and in one of the debates Biden said (about McCain) exactly and even more explicitly what Wes Clark got "thrown under the bus" for saying.
Update (12:25 pm): I see the text message arrived on my phone at 3:42 am. (I wonder if I can get a refund of the text message charge.) Apparently the campaign was forced to send it early after the news had already leaked to AP and CNN.

It could have been worse; it could have been Bayh or Kaine, but it SHOULD have been Clark.
